Establishing her early career in retail marketing, Melissa was appointed the Sales & Marketing Director of privately owned health & beauty distribution company. Managing and leading the strategic direction of the company & its executives. Melissa’s leadership is credited for growing, transforming, and improving results and efficacy across many of the business functions, which under her direction, gained an international reputation for award-winning brand distribution prior to its sale to a publicly listed company in 2012.

With a keen eye for trends, Melissa has sourced, built & developed many leading health and beauty brands such as Disney, Moosehead, Toni & Guy and Rokk Ebony.

In 2012, Melissa & her business partner Dan Peel established Polished Brands.
